Key Duties:


  • Develop and implement the Enterprise Portfolio Management (EPM) governance framework for digital investments.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to optimize portfolios and align digital and business investments with the organisation's strategic goals.
  • Define, adopt, and communicate best practices, decision matrices, and policies to drive portfolio optimization and ensure compliance.
  • Review and enhance current EPM tooling, integrating with ITSM platforms and corporate systems such as capital investment and budgeting tools.
  • Engage third-party consultants to support the acceleration and maturity of the EPM function.
  • Collaborate closely with Enterprise Architecture to align methods and frameworks with EPM objectives.
  • Facilitate innovation by identifying and assessing disruptive technologies and ensuring their integration into business and operating models.
  • Act as a thought leader, influencing and guiding digital and business leaders in their decision-making processes.
  • Provide guidance and support to Finance, Procurement, and Digital leadership to foster maturity in EPM practices.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of portfolio management processes, making adjustments as necessary.


Essential Skills


  • Over 10 years of experience in IT management, strategic portfolio management, enterprise architecture, or IT leadership.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record in influencing business and IT stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics.
  • Expertise in portfolio management, financial governance models, and risk management.
  • Knowledge of ITSM, agile methodologies, lean processes, and digital tools such as SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, and predictive analytics.
  • Experience with enterprise architecture tools, system lifecycle management, and contract lifecycle management.
  • Ability to think strategically and solve problems with a practical, systems-based approach.
  • Vendor-neutral, with a focus on achieving business outcomes through innovation and effective portfolio management.
