SEC specialises in providing electrical services across all sectors of the construction industry, with our main focus on Commercial, Residential, Refurbishment, Cat A + B and Shell and core.


Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Electrical Project Manager located in the Central London Area, United Kingdom. The Electrical Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing electrical projects, with roles to include:

  • Manage the complete project lifecycle
  • Working closely with our inhouse commercial team, while overseeing costs of labour, procurement, final accounts etc.
  • Liaise and communicate with our estimating department
  • Attending weekly progress meetings, design team meetings, client meetings while acting as a company representative.
  • Progress reporting, mark ups, labour planning.
  • Ensure Health & Safety is adhered too.
  • Manage site staff and Sub-contractors.
  • Financially responsible for projects
  • Self-motivated with ability to work on own initiative
  • Cost control, while liaising with project surveyor to produce monthly cost reports.
  • Quality control.
  • Risk control (programme and commercial).
  • Responsble for updating RAMS.


Qualifications and Experience

  • You will need a minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Electrical Project Manager.
  • Excellent communication and client facing skills
  • An extensive understanding of the current edition of BS7671 and the Codes of Practices
  • Proficiency in budgeting and project management
  • Effective problem solving & organisational skills
  • Good level of IT skills
  • Relevant certifications or professional qualifications in electrical engineering or project management

(Min SSSTS, ideally SMSTS)

  • Self-motivated with ability to work on own initiative
