This is a crucial role focused on driving the growth and success of our prestigious awards programmes: Champions, Creative, Marketing & Tech Awards.

We deliver high-quality news, research, and live events, including our highly anticipated annual awards galas, which bring together the best and brightest in the region.

The Role: Awards Programme Success Lead

As our Awards Programme Success Lead, you will be instrumental in expanding the reach and impact of our awards programmes. You will be responsible for managing and enhancing our customer data, proactively engaging with prospective entrants, and providing essential customer support throughout the awards process, including platform guidance and category selection assistance.

What does the role look like on a daily basis?

  • Data Management:
  • Review, clean, and update our existing customer database.
  • Identify and add new prospective entrants to our CRM.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customer interactions.
    • Proactive Outreach:
    • Conduct outbound calls to inform prospective entrants about upcoming award deadlines and ticketing sales periods.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential entrants.
    • Effectively communicate the value proposition of our awards programmes.
    • Qualify leads and report on progress.
      • Customer Support:
      • Provide comprehensive customer support to entrants, addressing enquiries regarding platform usage, category selection, and entry requirements.
      • Guide entrants through the awards submission process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
      • Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
      • Troubleshoot any platform related issues that the customer may encounter.
        • Sales Support:
        • Work closely with the events and commercial teams to achieve sales targets.
        • Provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders.
        • Report on activities and progress to the event manager or managing director.
        • Assist with other operational duties as needed.

  • Knowledge of the marketing, tech and creative industries in the north is beneficial.
  • Experience in customer support or a similar role is highly desirable.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary (dependent on experience) between 20-25k per annum
  • Bonus scheme related to targets.

  • Early end-of-year shutdown (approximately 2 weeks).
