🔥 Salary: around £100k + profit sharing and EMI scheme

🌎 Location: remote work in the UK, with an office just outside of London if you did wish to go in

👩🏼‍💻 Tech environment: Ruby on Rails, Postgres, Heroku, ElasticSearch, Git, Agile, JavaScript (not part of this position, but JS is the front end technology of choice).

👀 Reporting to: CTO

🧐 Why this company?: This is an exciting time to join the business as the Ruby on Rails expert. Initially, your main objective will be modernising the back end codebase which is Rails 7 but could use some newer features and some legacy code needs improvement. At first, you will be making technical decisions alongside the CTO, but ultimately you will be involved in hiring a team of back end engineers. As a result, the people leadership aspect of your role will continue to increase over time.
