Role Overview

This senior-level position requires a proactive, highly organised, and adaptable Executive Assistant with exceptional communication skills and strong business acumen. The ideal candidate will be meticulous, resourceful, and able to manage a fast-paced, ever-evolving workload.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Support

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the CEO, including complex diary management, scheduling, and correspondence handling.
  • Prepare and organise documents for meetings, ensuring the CEO is fully briefed.
  • Attend meetings with or on behalf of the CEO, taking minutes and ensuring timely follow-ups.

Communication & Coordination

  • Serve as a key point of contact between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate across departments to facilitate seamless execution of initiatives.
  • Act as a bridge between the CEO and the executive team, ensuring priorities remain aligned.

Research & Analysis

  • Conduct in-depth research on industry trends, competitors, and business opportunities within the energy and finance sectors.
  • Compile insightful reports to inform strategic decision-making.

Presentations & Documentation

  • Draft, edit, and refine high-impact presentations.
  • Prepare and review reports, speeches, and other key documents with a focus on clarity and professionalism.

Project Management

  • Assist in planning and executing strategic initiatives, tracking progress, and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Identify challenges and propose solutions to keep projects on course.

Confidentiality & Discretion

  • Manage highly sensitive information with complete discretion.
  • Handle confidential documents securely and appropriately.

Personal Support

  • Provide ad hoc personal assistance to the CEO as needed, ensuring a seamless integration between professional and personal commitments.

Start-Up Environment

  • Thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing start-up setting, demonstrating adaptability and resourcefulness.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as required, contributing to the organisation's success.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education & Industry Knowledge

  • Degree qualification is essential
  • Experience in finance, private equity/M&A, or the energy sector is highly desirable.

Technical Proficiency

  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel, with the ability to create professional presentations and spreadsheets.

Language Skills

  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
