Equal Resourcing would like to hear from candidates experienced in coordinating and reviewing bid submissions and offering technical bid support, for the position of Technical Bid Writer.
We would also encourage applications from Site Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, or Project Managers, as comprehensive training will be provided to facilitate advancement to the role of Technical Bid Writer.

YOUR NEW ROLE
Technical bid writing:
- Develop a Bid Strategy in collaboration with the Director.
- Research technical requirements, client specifications, qualifications, etc.
- Plan Bid Submission, set deadlines for internal and external returns, and review the information.
- Proofread information provided by the bid team.
- Fully understand the client's expectations for technical submissions.
- Write and coordinate the technical bid submission with assistance from the estimating team and contract managers.
- Coordinate the Technical Queries (TQ) process both internally and with the client.
Support for the PQQ and tender process includes:
- Assisting the tender team by gathering information and physically completing PQQs.
- Ensuring that Tender Technical Support documentation is current on the tender server.
- Facilitating the provision of information for tender submissions from site/company resources, which involves interfacing with various business functions.
- Proofreading, formatting, and submitting tender PQQ documentation to clients.

MUST HAVE SKILLS
Strong Writing and Administrative Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Creative flair
- Organized with keen attention to detail
- Capable of multitasking and supporting multiple teams across various remote locations
- Experienced in the construction or civil engineering sector
ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS
- AutoCAD Experience
- Proficiency in MS Project
- Degree Holder, Pursuing Chartership
- On-site Experience in Civil Engineering
- Experience in New Business Development is Beneficial
- Experience in Estimating or Generating Compensation Event Quotations
