The Role:

We are excited to partner with an innovative consultancy based in Aberdeen, looking for a Power BI Consultant to join their growing team. You will play a pivotal role in developing Power BI solutions, educating clients on the benefits of the Power Platform, and helping them unlock its full potential.


A key part of your role will be breaking down complex concepts into simple, engaging presentations and providing hands-on training to end users.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Power BI solutions and educate clients on leveraging the full Power Platform.
  • Simplify technical concepts, demonstrating the "art of the possible" in data transformation.
  • Provide Power Apps development and training.
  • Stay current with platform enhancements and Microsoft best practices.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Adapt to diverse client needs with flexibility and enthusiasm.
  • Travel to client sites across the UK as needed.


Essential Skills:

  • Strong Power BI and Power Platform development knowledge.
  • Consultancy experience or ability to thrive in a client-facing environment.
  • Excellent customer relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently, solve problems, and make decisions.
  • Familiarity with PowerApps, DAX, and SQL.
  • Understanding of architectural principles and commitment to low-code solutions.
  • Full UK Driving License, eligible to live and work in the UK.


Nice to Have:

  • Power BI and Power Platform certification.
  • End-user education experience: You enjoy putting complex ideas into simple terms.
  • Enthusiastic, self-starter with a go-getter attitude – not your average corporate role
