Senior Quantity Surveyor (SQS) – OUTSIDE IR35


Role: Senior Quantity Surveyor reporting into Commercial Manager working on a £40m project in Central London. You will oversee a Project Quantity Surveyor and an Apprentice Quantity Surveyor. Working on JCT D&B contract


Day Rate: £350 – £475 per day dependent on experience – Outside IR35 LTD company


Location: Central London Zones 1/2


Company: Niche civil engineering contractor who specialise in demolition, piling, fire protection, groundworks, concrete frame and earthworks. They’re well known in the industry and have a great reputation for offering long term contracts with progression internally.


Duties:

  • Procurement of materials, plant and labour
  • Applications of payment
  • Managing subcontractors / labour
  • Raising early warnings and managing CE’s
  • Measuring and pricing variations
  • Managing change
  • Day to day management of QS’s
  • Completing monthly CVR’s
  • Getting involved with client liaison


MUST HAVE: Experience working with a specialist groundworks or frames contractor. Experience overseeing a junior member of staff.
