We are seeking talented and experienced Algorithmic Trading Systems Architect to lead and contribute the design, development, and implementation of our next-generation trading systems infrastructure.


Role Overview: As an Algorithmic Trading Systems Architect, you will play a pivotal role in architecting, designing, and optimizing complex algorithmic trading platforms. You will collaborate with trading strategists, quantitative researchers, and technology teams to build high-performance, low-latency trading systems that handle vast amounts of real-time market data and execute trades across multiple asset classes. Your expertise in e-trading systems architecture will drive the evolution of our platform to stay ahead of the competition in an ever-changing market environment.


Key Responsibilities:

System Architecture & Design and Product Managements/Ownership:

  • Design and develop scalable, resilient, and high-performance trading systems for executing algorithmic strategies in real-time markets.
  • Define the product roadmap for algorithmic trading tools and systems.
  • Align the product’s features with market needs, client feedback, and business goals.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work with traders, quants, developers, and business teams to prioritize features.
  • Communicate technical requirements effectively across teams.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize system components for low-latency execution, high throughput, and minimal downtime, ensuring systems meet stringent performance and reliability standards.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, quantitative analysts, and operations staff, to deliver comprehensive trading infrastructure solutions.
  • Tech Stack Evolution: Continuously assess and integrate new technologies and methodologies to keep the trading systems on the cutting edge (e.g., low-latency techniques, distributed systems, cloud, FPGA, etc.).
  • Risk Management: Implement advanced risk management features, including real-time monitoring, failover mechanisms, and automated error detection, to ensure safe and secure operation of trading systems.
  • Scalability & Reliability: Ensure the architecture supports the scale of global, multi-asset, high-frequency trading environments while maintaining high availability and fault tolerance.
  • Documentation & Best Practices: Document system architecture, design decisions, and implementation details. Define coding standards, performance benchmarks, and testing procedures.
  • Mentorship & Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and guide teams in best practices for system design, code quality, and operational excellence.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in designing, building, and maintaining algorithmic trading platforms or high-frequency trading systems.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C++ or Rust, with knowledge of low-latency, high-throughput systems.
  • Architectural Knowledge: Proven experience in architecting distributed systems, real-time data pipelines, and high-performance trading applications.
  • Trading Knowledge: Understanding of financial markets, trading strategies, and key concepts in algorithmic trading, including market microstructure, execution strategies, and order types.
  • System Optimization: In-depth knowledge of performance tuning, latency reduction, and efficient resource utilization in trading systems.
  • Cloud & Distributed Computing: Experience with cloud computing (AWS, Azure) and distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker) in the context of trading systems.
  • Degree: Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or related fields.


Preferred Skills:

  • HFT Expertise: Previous work experience in a high-frequency trading environment preferred.
