Are you ready to shape the future of high-frequency, automated trading? As a C++ Developer , you will be the first hire in our client's new London office, working for an established proprietary trading firm that has made its mark in the US. This is a unique greenfield opportunity where you will design, engineer, and implement cutting-edge trading software.
You will collaborate closely with teams across research, systems, and operations to architect and develop the core software for their trading infrastructure. You'll also have the autonomy to innovate, extend our research platform, and optimize trading algorithms for performance and scalability across global exchanges.
Design and implement low-latency trading systems in C++
Collaborate with research and operations teams to develop and improve trading strategies
Optimize system performance through profiling, benchmarking, and algorithm improvements
Contribute to networking infrastructure by implementing low-level protocols and analyzing behaviour
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
~5+ years of experience in C++
~ Experience with low-latency systems, performance tuning, and large-scale distributed systems
~ Experience in the trading industry is mandatory
Be the first hire in our London office, with direct impact on their European trading strategies
Work in a greenfield environment , building foundational technology for the firm’s global expansion
