ABOUT THE ROLE:


Are you passionate about teaching, developing talent, and shaping the future of beauty professionals? We have an exciting opportunity for an Academy Trainer to join our Talent Development team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for training new salon employees to deliver exceptional services while ensuring they meet our high standards in customer service, product usage, and safety. This role is central to making our Academy a nurturing and inspiring environment where highly motivated individuals are created.


Key responsibilities:

  • Training & Development: Tailor your training techniques to meet the diverse learning styles of new salon employees (NSEs). Provide constructive feedback to help them improve and succeed.
  • Classroom Management: Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages collaboration, respect, and open communication. Address and resolve any classroom conflicts or issues.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Train NSEs in providing top-tier customer service, emphasising the importance of building and maintaining client relationships. Ensure that NSEs treat models as customers and perform appropriate checks during treatments to guarantee satisfaction.
  • Practical Skills Training: Guide NSEs through practical exercises, such as manicures and pedicures, providing real-time feedback. Teach the proper use of nail care tools, equipment, and products, while instilling exemplary hygiene and safety practices.
  • Assessment & Record Keeping: Conduct regular assessments to evaluate NSEs' understanding and proficiency in Townhouse nail care techniques. Maintain accurate records of attendance, scoring, and progress.


ABOUT YOU:


We welcome candidates who are proactive, passionate, and dedicated to developing others. You should have strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to work with diverse groups of students. If you have previous experience in a Training or Learning & Development role, and preferably within the beauty and nail care sector, we would love to hear from you.


You will have:

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Passion for teaching and helping others succeed.
  • Organisational skills for curriculum planning and administrative tasks.
  • Experience within the beauty and nail care sector is a plus.


LOCATION:


This role is based at our Academy, with occasional field visits. The position requires flexibility to work across all seven days of the week as needed.
