Management Accountant (SAP Business ByDesign Super-User)
9-month Fixed Term Contract, Maternity Cover
London (hybrid, 3 days a week in the office)
£50,000 to £60,000 per annum
SystemsAccountants are currently working on behalf of our client to source a Systems/Management Accountant to join their Finance team and assist with the support of their SAP ByDesign ERP on an interim basis, starting from next month.
Role Responsibilities:
- Manage the SAP ByDesign ERP system, maintaining the integrity of the system
- Run weekly sales reporting and other ad hoc report creation
- Perform monthly closing based on local reporting standards.
- Manage intercompany relations, reconciliations and run banking and balance sheet reconciliations
- Audit Preparation and Internal controls.
- Supervision of Accruals/prepayments, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Improve and change internal and financial controls and processes.
- Assisting with the monthly Management Accounts preparation and presentation, including AP/AR reporting, expenditure analysis and investigation, FX reconciliations and reporting.
- Developments of new reports using Excel, Power BI and SAP
- Delivering training in elements of SAP Business ByDesign
- Answering queries related to SAP
Role Requirements:
- Accountancy qualification (full or part qualified) including ACCA, ACA, AAT or CIMA
- Proven experience in a similar role as a Systems or Management Accountant in a small finance team
- Strong knowledge of functional accounting with solid experience in month end duties
- Experience working with SAP Business ByDesign
- Double entry bookkeeping skills
- Skills in MS Excel (including pivot tables and V-Lookup)
- Strong administration and communication skills
- Knowledge of local statutory compliance preferred
- Ideally 10+ years of work experience
