They are looking for a software engineering team lead with credible experience building a high-frequency ETL/Data transfer focused software product/system.

What you’ll be working on


At Dentally, their number one strategic aim is to improve the onboarding experience for their global customers. In your new role you'll be a key player, contributing to strategy, leading on technology and process changes that enable their customers to migrate their data onto their Dentally product platform with minimal disruption and friction. You will help eliminate time delay and enable customers to benefit from their products more quickly, more efficiently and with less human intervention.


This will involve:


  • Leading a mission focused team of remote software engineers
  • Building, optimising and automating toolsets that extract, transform and load new customer data from complex source systems.
  • Delivering innovative ideas to improve processes, realise efficiencies and increase velocity.
  • Partnering with customers and stakeholders to deliver a seamless and delightful onboarding experience.
  • Inspiring, motivating and coaching to enable the continuous development of individuals within your team
  • Collaborating with senior engineering leaders across vision and strategy for your team and their products
  • Empowering your team to achieve a high level of productivity and technical quality
  • Developing relationships and working across the business to influence others in aiming for the best user experience possible.
  • Working effectively with product managers, other engineers and business stakeholders on projects
  • Communicating technical ideas and leading projects with a focus on solving real world business challenges in a global setting.
  • Helping recruit and retain engineers to create a talent dense, high performing engineering team


Your technical skills


You are a talented engineer with experience spanning some of the below requirements


  • 2 years+ experience within an engineering team lead position
  • Senior-level full stack engineer with 5+ years of experience
  • Strong at developing applications using .NET, C# and Microsoft SQL Server
  • Extensive SQL knowledge and the ability to write complex, performant database queries
  • Evidencable experience of data migration and ETL practices
  • Evidencable experience working with cloud computing platforms such as AWS & Azure
  • Desirable: Experience with Ruby on Rails
