Moth is a pioneer in quantum computer technologies, leading the research and development of quantum computing applications for the Entertainment & Media (E&M) industries, focusing on Gaming, Audio, Music, VR/AR, and Visual Media. We are building the quantum software backbone that will enable the next generation of content creation and generation in these industries. Role Overview: As a Marketing Manager at Moth, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's marketing, communication, branding, and positioning initiatives. You'll support the development and execution of strategies that enhance Moth's presence in the Entertainment & Media (E&M) Industry. In this role, you will develop and implement a cohesive communication and marketing strategy ensuring brand consistency across all channels. You will manage public relations, event coordination, social media & content creation, branding initiatives, paid advertising campaigns, and performance analytics, while collaborating with internal teams as well as coordinating and overseeing external partners. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the co-founders and executive team to develop a cohesive communication and marketing strategy and comprehensive marketing plan that aligns with business goals.
  • Assist in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns to enhance brand communication, positioning, and visibility in line with Moth's objectives and business goals.
  • Enhance company branding and ensure brand consistency across all digital and print platforms, working closely with internal stakeholders and external designers. 
  • Develop and manage a content calendar that integrates all marketing and PR activities.
  • Coordinate and oversee external PR teams and agencies to enhance Moth's communication and positioning, drive media coverage, secure placements, and build thought leadership opportunities.
  • Oversee and ensure optimisation in day-to-day social media content planning, execution, and community engagement across platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, X, and BlueSky.
  • Oversee social media trends and audience engagement, adjusting strategies to optimize reach and impact.
  • Develop and execute paid advertising campaigns across digital platforms (e.g., Google Ads, social media ads) to drive brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
  • Oversee the creation of compelling marketing content, blog posts, and social media assets to reinforce Moth's brand message.
  • Improve, maintain and update the company website and all related websites, ensuring content remains engaging, relevant, and user-friendly.
  • Create branded company material and ensure official internal and external company material (such as presentations, letters, etc.) is consistent. 
  • Support executives and Business Unit heads in branding documentation, presentations, etc. 
  • Track and analyse key performance metrics for all marketing activities, including paid campaigns, and provide actionable insights for optimization.
  • Support the planning and coordination of company events, including the company's presence at industry events, fairs, summits, as well as speaking engagements and showcases.
  • Identify and pursue strategic partnerships and sponsorship opportunities that align with Moth's brand objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop creative assets, messaging, and campaigns that effectively communicate Moth's unique value proposition.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging marketing strategies to refine and evolve Moth's marketing approach

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of creators, internet culture and the rapidly shifting creative technology space.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing & communication, with a focus on technology, Entertainment & Media, or other Creative Industry.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing marketing and communication strategies with clear, measurable outcomes.
  • Proven experience in building and implementing company branding and positioning strategies. 
  • Strong public relations and media relationship management experience, including working with PR agencies and securing and overseeing press coverage. 
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, social media management tools, advertising platforms).
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and how to optimize content for organic reach
  • Demonstrated ability to create marketing and social campaigns, social media strategy, and content marketing.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with an ability to craft compelling messages for different audiences.  
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage concurrent projects under tight deadlines. 
  • Strong experience in managing and optimizing paid advertising campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Creative thinker with a data-driven mindset, capable of analysing performance metrics and optimizing strategies for better results.
  • Experience in graphic design and editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva)
  • A passion for technology, innovation, and contemporary culture; familiarity with quantum computing and entertainment technology industries is advantageous but not required.
