Our client, an industry leader in accounting and business consultancy services, based in the City of London is looking to hire a Sales and Relationship Development Manager for their team.


As Sales and Relationship Development Manager you will driving profitable growth and you will play a key role in building relationships both internally and externally to win new work and maximise client relationships. You will work closely with the partners in the company and the business development team to ensure alignment of process and messaging.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Building strong relationships with the partners and delivering fee growth against their strategic plans.
  • Targeting and generating potential revenue using both proactive and reactive sales techniques, capitalising on leads and existing relationships.
  • Identifying sales opportunities linked to legislative, market and economic based issues.
  • Preparing bids and proposals and delivering on pitches for new business opportunities.
  • Identifying referral and cross selling opportunities across the firm.
  • Hitting sales targets to achieve fee growth.
  • Working closely with the BD team on campaigns.
  • Influencing and supporting strategic priorities and initiatives.


About you:

  • You will have a proven track record of sales and relationship management in professional services, ideally within an accountancy, law or insurance firm.
  • You will be confident, professional and able to build strong relationships with C-Suites.
  • Strong knowledge of sales methodologies/ processes will be important.
  • You will be an excellent persuader, influencer and challenger.
  • You will have strong commercial acumen. and excellent networking skills, good at quickly establishing relationships and trust.
  • You should be able to confidently present and chair meetings.
  • You will be resilient and tenacious with the ability to remain positive when working under pressure.
