Ada is partnered with a Trading powerhouse as they expand their security function, supporting them in hiring a Senior Security Architect to lead on creating security solutions that protect the financial safety of millions of traders globally. They have a team of over 1,000+ professionals with over 2.5 customers globally.


  • Role: Senior Security Architect
  • Salary: £100k DOE + Bonus
  • Location: Reading (1-2 days per week)
  • Company: Fintech/Trading


Your Role:


As our Senior Security Architect, you'll be a key player in securing their fintech platform, leading initiatives to protect both their assets and maintain their clients' trust. This is a key hire as the company scales its security function, with you at the forefront providing technical expertise and helping to shape the future of the sec function.

Responsibilities:


  • Be the primary guardian of our digital infrastructure
  • Provide ‘DevSecOps’ Leadership – working across teams to embed a security-first mindset in our development processes
  • Design secure architectures for large-scale, cloud-native applications
  • Lead on security best practices across various layers, with hands-on experience in securing payment systems and ensuring financial industry compliance
  • Ensure security is a core and valuable aspect of how they build and deploy products
  • Implement security measures within CI/CD pipelines, integrating security seamlessly
  • Lead security reviews of all new and existing systems, platforms, and applications to ensure they meet the highest security standards.
  • Safeguard the security and integrity of their payment systems, focused on protecting financial transactions and fortifying their security framework.


Key Qualifications:


  • 10+ years in information security
  • Strong focus on cloud security, security architecture, and DevSecOps
  • AWS and GCP
  • Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Python or similar programming languages
