Are you a Principal Data Engineer experienced in Azure, SQL, ETL and Databricks? Then this could be for you.


We're supporting one of our key clients who are an exciting financial business based in the heart of Liverpool. Just over the last 12 months they've built out and grown their tech team by over 40+ heads and looking to expand more and more across all teams (Software, Data, Cyber, Infra and more)


They're looking for a Principal Data Engineer to help support, guide and design their data solutions, this role isnt a management role, however more of a technical hands-on leader. Part of the major project at the moment is migrating data from the group's companies into Azure and centralising this, so you'll be part of a brand new project.

The successful Principal Data Engineer will have:

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • 5+ Years of Data Engineering experience.
  • Experienced at high level database development and admin in both Azure cloud and on prem.
  • Proven working experience with Azure Data Warehouse, Databricks, SQL and Python/PySpark.
  • ETL & ETL Frameworks
  • Experience of consuming and combining data for near real time answers.
