About the Role

We are seeking an experienced data engineer to join our team and help us deliver innovative data solutions to our clients. As a data engineer at Intuita, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, performing data modeling using Kimball, 3NF, or Dimensional methodologies, and utilizing SQL and Python for data extraction, transformation, and loading into Azure Databricks and Azure SQL/SQL Server.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement data pipelines using Azure Data Factory to ensure efficient data movement and transformation
  • Perform data modeling using Kimball, 3NF, or Dimensional methodologies to optimize data storage and retrieval
  • Utilize SQL and Python to extract, transform, and load data into Azure Databricks and Azure SQL/SQL Server
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement solutions
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the data pipeline
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the data pipelines
  • Stay updated with the latest Azure technologies and industry best practices

Requirements
  • Solid experience in Azure, specifically with Azure Databricks and Azure SQL/SQL Server
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) for designing and building data pipelines
  • Familiarity with metadata-driven pipeline development
  • Knowledge of Azure Storage, Medallion Architecture, and data formats such as JSON, CSV, and Parquet
  • Strong understanding of IT concepts including security, IAM, Key Vault, and networking
Nice to Have
  • Exposure to Apache Airflow and DBT
  • Familiarity with agile principles and practices
  • Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines
