Sales Administrator

Cambridge

up to £33,000 basic

We are on the look out for a sales admin superstar to join a growing and thriving developer to support the sales team.

If you are a sales administrator at a housebuilder or estate agent looking for a change, or, a sales advisor who has strong administration skills, wants to move into a back office function, read below

You will have a strong background in the property sector, experienced in supporting sales teams and ensuring the smooth running of operations.

You will be managing customer enquiries, preparing sales documentation, coordinating between buyers, solicitors, and site teams, and maintaining accurate records.

With a keen eye for detail, strong Microsoft Excel skills and excellent organisational skills. You will work closely with the Sales Director and Sales Manager, assisting on timely completions and provide exceptional customer service to purchasers.

on offer is a basic salary of up to £33,000. This role offers hybrid working with 4 days based in the office in Cambridge and 1 day working from home.

What you will be doing:

  • Provide daily support to the Sales Director and sales team, acting as the primary contact for any administrative matters.
  • Oversee the management of reservation documents, ensuring all relevant parties receive them promptly. Regularly update price lists and systems when new releases or re-releases occur.
  • Attend weekly build and sales meetings, recording minutes and completion dates to share with the broader sales team.
  • Assist the contract progressor and provide coverage as needed.
  • Ensure reservation systems are regularly updated with any changes, notifying relevant parties accordingly.
  • Prepare and organise monthly completion items for the sales team.
  • Handle sales invoice queries, purchase card receipts, and BACS payments to customers, and assist the finance team as necessary.
  • Act as the main point of contact for other departments and provide support as required.
  • Submit the monthly NHBC report to the customer care manager, detailing reservations, exchanges, completions, and cancellations.
  • Perform additional duties as needed.

Requirements:

  • Experience in sales and/or administration ideally for a housebuilder or estate agent
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
  • CRM experience
  • Valid UK driving licence
  • Right to work in the UK
