Position Overview:


We are seeking a highly skilled electronics developer or engineer to join our research and development (R&D) team. The ideal candidate will have a high level of prototype experience in both hardware and software, where you will play a crucial role in designing and testing electronic systems for new powertrain development. 


Ideally with a background in autosport or aerospace. 


Responsibilities:

  • Leading design and development of electronic hardware solutions, including schematic capture, PCB layout, and component selection.
  • Develop embedded software/firmware to control and interface with electronic systems in the underwater jetpack.
  • Prototype and test electronic circuits and systems to ensure functionality and reliability in challenging underwater conditions.
  • Provide technical support during product development and manufacturing phases, ensuring seamless integration of electronics into the underwater jetpack.


Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical, Computer Engineering, or related field. 
  • Good and effective communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in electronics design tools.
  • Strong programming skills.
  • Experience with microcontrollers.
  • Knowledge of communication protocols.
  • Good knowledge of analog and digital circuit design principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in complex electronic systems.
  • Ability to work independently and also as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, with a passion for underwater exploration and innovation.
  • Familiarity with design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for testability (DFT)
