My client, a leading international law firm, is seeking an experienced Senior Banking Associate to join their dynamic and innovative Manchester-based team. This is a unique opportunity to work across a variety of high-value and complex lending transactions while collaborating with colleagues both in the UK and internationally.

This role sits within a highly regarded corporate and leveraged finance team, part of a broader finance group that spans multiple practice areas, including:

  • TMT finance
  • Corporate lending, including corporate real estate lending
  • Venture debt and growth finance


As a Senior Associate, you’ll work on diverse and interesting transactions, collaborating with top-tier clients ranging from established UK and international banks to private equity sponsors, corporates, and cutting-edge start-ups. My client also boasts a strong venture debt practice, playing a pivotal role in supporting early-stage companies, many of which are part of their highly successful start-up program.

While the role is Manchester-based, you’ll gain exposure to deals across London and the firm’s international network, offering unparalleled opportunities to broaden your expertise and develop professionally.


What You’ll Bring

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

  • Strong experience in corporate lending and/or venture debt and growth finance
  • A solid working knowledge of LMA documentation
  • At least 6 years of post-qualification experience (PQE)
  • Proven ability to lead transactions and manage junior associates or trainees
