Senior Core Java Engineer – Sustainable Energy Solutions – REMOTE (UK) – £130,000


Are you a seasoned Java engineer with a passion for environmental sustainability and innovative technology? We’re recruiting on behalf of an agile, forward-thinking startup dedicated to creating solutions that support a greener, more sustainable future.


After a successful partnership last year, we’re excited to renew our collaboration with this remarkable client as they embark on an ambitious expansion plan for 2024. We’re seeking Senior Core Java Engineers who are eager to lead in developing advanced sustainable energy solutions and take ownership of pioneering projects.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design & Development: Architect and implement advanced data processing platforms to manage diverse data streams with efficiency and scalability.
  • Collaboration: Participate in regular brainstorming sessions to drive innovation and problem-solving.
  • Coding Excellence: Write high-quality, maintainable code using best-in-class tools and industry methodologies.
  • Complex Application Development: Create sophisticated, multi-threaded applications designed to optimize performance and scalability.
  • Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior engineers, fostering skill development and growth within the team.


Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years as a Software Engineer, with hands-on Core Java expertise.
  • Educational Background: Degree in Computer Science or related field, showcasing technical depth and analytical abilities.
  • Technical Skills: Demonstrated experience in building low-latency platforms and developing large-scale, multi-threaded applications.
  • Proven Impact: A track record of enhancing efficiency and reducing latency across complex platforms.
