Focusing on 6 key sectors of materials, intelligent manufacturing, medical device, flexible electronics, biomedicine, and water treatment, BICI has set up collaborative laboratories and supported research groups in a number of prestigious universities at home and abroad to study cutting-edge technologies and lead future technological advances. At the same time, BICI has launched internal engineering laboratories and dedicated engineering and technical teams to jointly develop engineering technologies with universities to advance today’s industrial development.

BICI London is seeking experienced technical professionals/engineers in the above mentioned focus areas to work alongside our talented teams. The goal is to identify and incubate technologies with true market needs, manage existing portfolio projects, and accelerate the commercialization process.


Responsibilities include but not limited to:

· Analyze market needs and technology trends, source deals, initiate collaboration projects in focused areas;

· Conduct market and technical due diligence, prepare detailed reviews and extensive investment recommendation reports;

· Manage funded projects by communicating with the project teams on a regular basis, prepare monthly status reports, and conduct milestone checks;

· Collaborate closely with UK, US and international teams as well as external partners including professors and industry experts, to assist research groups/startup companies in solving technical problems;

· Validate commercialization paths and provide guidance to early-stage technologies to facilitate technology transfer and help establish start-up companies.


Minimum qualifications:

· Ph.D. degree in any of below areas: Optoelectronics, Materials, Intelligent Manufacturing, Medical devices, Biomedicine, Environmental Engineering;

· Industrial work experience, such as technology R&D and technology management experience is preferred

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to present clear and concise recommendations to senior management;

· Proficient in Chinese

· Critical thinker.
