Our client is looking to recruit a Financial Promotions Senior Managers to join it's fantastic specialist team.


In this role, you will deliver clear, accurate, and succinct guidance on matters of financial promotions across all communications channels to ensure the business deliver great customer outcomes.


You’ll be working alongside the business as part of the broader Conduct & Controls team and have the opportunity to work across a variety of different products and engage with a wide range of stakeholders.


What you’ll be doing:


  • Leading a small specialist Fin Prom team
  • Reviewing and assessing a wide range of communications and promotional materials to ensure these meet the rules and requirements associated with financial promotions.
  • Engaging with stakeholders to provide advice and guidance on technical matters and support the timely delivery of planned activities.
  • Providing training and support to business colleagues to broaden understanding and awareness of the requirements relating to financial promotions.
  • Resolving queries from colleagues by providing information on complex processes and related policies.
  • Identifying instances of non-compliance with policies and procedures and/or relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct, reporting these, and escalating issues as appropriate.
  • Leading the work of the broader Conduct & Controls team and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Driving innovation and strategic initiatives to enhance financial promotions compliance and effectiveness.


Ideal skills & experience:


  • Extensive knowledge of financial promotions and associated regulatory rules and guidance, including the Consumer Duty.
  • Ability to work independently and provide expert technical guidance on achieving full compliance with applicable rules and regulations in management and/or operations.
  • Experience in providing technical guidance on interpreting and applying knowledge of laws, regulations, and policies in the area of expertise.
  • Robust stakeholder management skills and a deep understanding of stakeholder priorities.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Exceptional attention to detail for managing complexity, effectively solving problems through the analysis of high-quantity and sometimes contradictory information.
  • Outstanding people management skills, developing team members to meet both their career goals and the organisation’s goals.
