Role Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our construction company.
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This is a key role within our organisation and offers the opportunity to make a significant impact. We are looking for someone with experience within the construction industry and a proven track record of successful business development strategies.
About the role:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through research and networking
- Develop and implement strategic business plans to expand the company's client base and market presence
- Use lead generation companies and tools to look for new projects and gather information of potential clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs promoting what the company can do for their projects
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets
- Provide regular updates on sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts
- Collaborate with the construction project management team to ensure seamless transition from business development to project execution
- Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, proposals, negotiations, and throughout the project
- Hybrid working from home or office
Requirements
- At least 5+ years' experience in a business development or senior sales role within construction Industry
- Proven experience in business development and sales within the construction industry
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
- Knowledge of the construction industry
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Experience in project management
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset
