IT Support Specialist

Location – London/Hybrid

Permanent, Full-time

Reporting to: ASE IT Manager


The IT Support Analyst will be a member of a 3-member IT team, distributed across the company’s 3 locations, UK, Germany and the Netherlands. The IT Support Specialist will play a key role in ensuring that the organization's IT systems and hardware run smoothly and efficiently. The role’s primary responsibilities include troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining hardware and software, and supporting end-users in resolving IT-related problems. The IT Support Specialist will also help with setting up new systems, installing software updates, monitoring system performance and will assist the wider IT team with ad-hoc projects.


Job responsibilities:

  • Resolve user issues in an accurate, timely manner
  • Provide an excellent level of support and communication
  • Maintain the asset database
  • Manage starters/leavers
  • Create guides for common end-user issues
  • Configure and deploy new and existing equipment (laptop / phones / printers etc)
  • Work with external suppliers, support and other stakeholders to complete equipment set-ups and repairs
  • Assist the wider IT team with IT and cyber security tasks and projects
  • Assist the wider IT team with ad-hoc projects and project deployments, such as system security, atomisation, optimisation etc.


Requirements:

  • At least 4 years of experience in an IT services support role including Helpdesk services, supporting local offices and IT projects
  • Expertise in M365 administration, Windows, MS Office, SharePoint
  • Experience with video conferencing systems and office printers
  • Awareness of internet technology and cloud computing
  • Experience on cyber security, basic programming (C#, PowerShell), SQL DB, Entra, Azure will be considered a plus
  • Flexible, lateral thinking and adaptability to change
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanour.
  • Strong organisation and administrative skills.
  • Creativity and ability to suggest improvements.
  • Fluency in verbal and written English. Knowledge of German or Dutch will be considered a plus.
