Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Lead the identification and development of new business opportunities in the professional and vocational training sector. Strategize and implement initiatives to expand our client base and market reach.
  • Client Engagement and Success: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their needs and offering customized learning and development solutions that drive their success. Ensure high client satisfaction through continuous engagement and feedback
  • Strategic Leadership: Shape the strategic direction of the training department, ensuring alignment with the organization's goals and responsiveness to market demands.
  • Program Development: Design, develop, and implement comprehensive training solutions that include leadership development, vocational skills, and professional enhancement courses.
  • Certification and Industry Knowledge: Maintain an up-to-date understanding of various industry certifications and integrate this knowledge into training offerings to enhance their relevance and value.
  • Talent Assessment: Utilize talent assessment tools to gauge the effectiveness of training programs and identify development needs, aligning solutions with client objectives.
  • Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with the sales, marketing, and training teams to ensure a cohesive approach to business development, program promotion, and delivery.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure that training programs meet the highest quality standards and comply with industry regulations and best practices.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and develop the training team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Human Resources, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Relevant experience and qualifications in training and development, particularly in leadership, vocational, and professional development areas.
  • Strong track record in business development and client relationship management within the training and development industry.
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution, with demonstrable results in growing business units or departments.

  • Industry and Certification Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of industry trends, certifications, and best practices in professional and vocational training.
  • Communication and Presentation: Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with clients, pitching training solutions, and leading team discussions.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Proven leadership abilities, with experience managing teams and fostering a culture of professionalism and growth.
  • Adaptability and Innovation: Flexibility to adapt to client needs and industry changes, with a commitment to innovation in training solutions.
