Job Title: Junior/Associate Digital Project Manager

Location: Chertsey (2x a week on-site)

Job Type: Hybrid role / Day-rate Contract

Contract Length: 12 months



Purpose of the Role:


As a Junior/Associate Digital Project Manager, you'll have overall ownership of delivering in-house or partner-led projects within specified timelines and budgets. This role requires a solid understanding of change management and vendor management principles, along with the ability to work with Quality Management Systems (ISO-9001). The successful candidate will have experience managing partners and driving projects to completion.



Main Responsibilities:


  • Project Review & Engagement: Assess partner-led or in-house projects, engaging relevant stakeholders for seamless project execution.
  • Lean Process Improvement: Utilize lean methodologies to enhance productivity and non-linearity in project workflows.
  • Quarterly Business Reviews: Organize and execute quarterly reviews with partners and stakeholders to align on project goals.
  • Value Delivery Framework: Develop and implement a value delivery framework to ensure project goals align with business objectives.
  • Proactive Risk Management: Conduct weekly reviews to identify and mitigate potential project risks.
  • People Supply Chain Planning: Anticipate resource needs and collaborate with the PMO team to refine project delivery techniques.



Required Skills and Experience:


  • Agile/Sprints & DevOps: Strong knowledge of Agile/Sprints methodologies, product (MVP) design, DevOps practices (CI/CD), and automation.
  • Stakeholder Management: Proven experience in managing stakeholder expectations across distributed teams.
  • Delivery & Operational Experience: Expertise in project delivery, including demand and supply resource fulfilment and financial processes.
  • Team Leadership & Innovation: Lead and motivate cross-functional teams while driving innovative project management practices.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to grasp complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Strong negotiation, facilitation, and active listening skills for effective stakeholder management.
  • Familiarity with JIRA: Experience with project management tools like JIRA is preferred.



What Success Looks Like:


  • Proactive Risk & Dependency Management: Identify and mitigate risks while ensuring compliance and adherence to contracts.
  • Business Continuity Planning: Implement and validate BCP through regular testing and audits.
  • Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with internal teams and third-party suppliers.
  • Prioritization & Workload Management: Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Enthusiasm for Digital & eCommerce: Cultivate a passion for digital projects and eCommerce.



Education & Experience:


  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 3+ years of concentrated eCommerce/retail experience
  • SAP Hybris and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) knowledge is desirable



Hours of Work:


37.5-hour workweek, with occasional weekend and evening work required for emergencies and project deadlines.
