We are seeking a skilled and analytical Web Analyst to join our team. The Web Analyst will be responsible for analyzing web traffic data, generating insights, and providing actionable recommendations to optimize our online presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web analytics, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex data clearly and concisely.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and evaluate onsite performance from multiple traffic sources (paid, organic, email, social etc.).
- Identify key opportunities to drive meaningful growth and engagement by digging to a granular level on audience targeting and alignment of customer journey.
- Provide opportunity analysis gaps including audience, response drivers, and competitive research to inform strategic decisions on creative, site optimizations, and testing.
- Advocate for up-to-date customer experience best practices to guide critical direction on creative/content and audience strategy to improve the websites.
- Proactively recommend and execute technical web optimizations to drive results, including launching tests and segmenting traffic.
- Align and work closely with creative, web development, and product teams to develop key testing plans and improvements throughout the onsite experience.
- Consistently track and report on site performance, delving into a deeper analysis of key performance drivers.
- Optimize multiple A/B tests simultaneously with varying goals of profitability and user improvements.
- Ensure seamless deployment and QA of customer experience following test launches.
- Build, execute, and communicate a detailed testing roadmap with clear goals of success and P&L impact.
- Provide Google Analytics training and reporting for the team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Web Analyst or in a similar role, preferably within the online gambling or e-commerce industry.
- Proficiency in web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and Tag Manager.
- Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, and digital marketing principles.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Knowledge of A/B testing methodologies and tools.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices.
