Retained, Staff Software Engineer - up to £120k, Hybrid, the company policy is 1 day per month in the office but, a lot of people go in more frequently due to the amazing London office with fantastic benefits like free lunch everyday


Maze have been exclusively retained for a Staff Engineer to join an Online Retail company who amount over 8 million + users every month Working with the likes of Nike, Adidas, Dominos and more They’ve also recently been confirmed in the top 40 companies to work for in the UK, top 20 for tech & in the top 5 for mid sized workplaces


They’re a great business who truly have DE&I at the forefront of everything they do., the male to female ratio is approx 60% female.


There are a bunch of exciting Greenfield projects such as building/replacing systems, multiple migrations (from PHP to Typescript). You will have ownership of the projects & tasks while communicating frequently with key stakeholders.


Must have:

  • Typescript ,Node,
  • PHP (Need to have some experience with it in the past 5 years)
  • Good software architecture skills. Showcase previous Greenfield projects, the process on how you chose things, what went well, not so well, trade offs & how you made these decisions.
  • Staff or Principle level. Leading technology initiative for a team/hub.
  • Needs to be a willing IC & extremely strong hands on.
  • Cloud experience (ideally AWS but GCP or Azure fine)
  • Docker
