The Role:

With ambitious growth plans, eQS is expanding its development team. We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer to accelerate the production of our high-quality software. You will play a key role in bringing our products to new markets and integrating complementary companies into our portfolio.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain web and desktop applications
  • Engage in all development cycle stages: design, acceptance criteria, development, QA, and continuous integration
  • Contribute to backlog stories and review acceptance criteria
  • Perform software design, coding, testing, code reviews, and unit testing
  • Mentor junior developers
  • Participate in regular meetings with internal customers


Essential Skills:

Extensive experience in software development

Proficiency in the Microsoft .Net web stack:

C# .Net Framework & Core

T-SQL

LINQ and Entity Framework

JavaScript, HTML, CSS

IIS

Working knowledge of PHP

In-depth knowledge of relational databases (especially MS SQL)

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Understanding of object-oriented programming techniques

Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize effectively

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud services (Azure & AWS)

Relevant Computing/Software qualification or appropriate experience

Beneficial Skills / Experience:

Experience with Git / Azure DevOps and Visual Studio 2019/2022

Knowledge of JQuery, Windows Forms, MySQL, MS Power BI reporting

Familiarity with managing Linux/Apache web stack and Bootstrap front end

Sector experience in technology and/or education
