Supply Chain Auditor

We have an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Lead Auditor based in our Derby offices. Reporting into the Compliance and Safety Manager you will be accountable for all aspects of leading and managing audit requirements for external operators as well as contributing to various aspects of our Health and Safety policies.
Salary upto £32k + excellent benefits & opportunities for development
The role will not only ensure that all aspects of supplier compliance requirements are organised to ensure delivery of SLA requirements and Client needs, but also documentation regarding audit are checked, confirmed, and approved.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in auditing or a related field.
- Experience of working in the transport industry
- A detailed understanding of Health and Safety within the workplace and operations
- Team player who can deliver a proactive and high-quality approach to administration
- Collaboration – able to oversee and deliver acceptable audit outcomes with suppliers
- Analyses and Innovations – able to use available knowledge and locate and extract data to define, recommend and implement workable solutions to audit issues that arise
- Ability to manage interaction and relationships between external and internal stakeholders on compliance issues.
- Ability to plan, organise, implement and deliver audits with our suppliers
- Although not essential the following would be beneficial;
- ISO Internal Auditor or ISO Lead Auditor qualification is desirable
- Proficiency in audit software and tools.
