Job Overview


We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager with a background in contract recruitment to help grow our client base in the Oil & Gas and Renewable Energies sectors.


What will I be doing?


As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving new business opportunities and building strong client relationships in the Oil & Gas and Renewable Energy industries. You will work on identifying potential clients, understanding their recruitment needs, and providing tailored contract recruitment solutions to support their business growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying new business opportunities and developing long-term client partnerships.
  • Collaborating with the recruitment team to ensure successful candidate placements.
  • Staying updated on industry trends and market changes to identify growth opportunities.
  • Attending customer visits, trade shows, networking events and other professional meet-ups to represent Douglas Stuart Ltd. as the best in class for manpower services.


What skills/experience will I need?


We are looking for someone with a background in contract recruitment, ideally in the Oil & Gas or Renewable Energies sectors. Key skills and experience include:

  • Proven success in business development and client relationship management.
  • Experience in consultative selling and closing deals.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, with excellent time-management skills.
