My client, a boutique London Law Firm, are seeking a Human Resources Manager to join their firm.

This is a standalone role and the post holder will come be given scope to develop the existing HR offering within the firm, so is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced stand-alone manager or Human Resources Manager/HRBP seeking to work in a smaller environment where they can make a tangible impact.

Full time or part-time 3 or 4 days per week.

Salary circa: £70,000-£85,000, depending on experience.

A suitable candidate MUST have experience working in a Professional Services environment and extensive experience of working directly with Senior Stakeholders/Directors.

Location: London.

Hybrid working: 3 days in office per week (if working full time hours).

The key duties will include:

  • Review and develop current HR policies and procedures, ensuring they are fit for purpose.
  • Look to create a strong attraction and retention plan as well as carrying out end-to-end recruitment and onboarding.
  • Managing employee benefits - including liaising with external brokers and providers.
  • Coordinating the annual appraisal process.
  • Coordinating monthly Payroll.
  • Provide general HR advice and guidance to staff across the business.
  • Review and make advice on any training needs.
  • Provide Employee Relations advice when required.
  • Work with other Senior staff on various projects.

The Human Resources Manager must be an experienced HR professional with strong knowledge of HR policies and procedures. They must be personable, with the ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues. Experience of working in a similar environment such as a law firm or professional service is preferred.
