Compensation Manager- London- Up to £100k plus benefits

A leading global investment manager is seeking an experienced Senior Compensation Specialist to join its London-based Reward team. Reporting to the Head of Reward, this role offers an exciting opportunity to help shape competitive compensation strategies across the firm’s European markets, ensuring the firm attracts and retains top talent.

As part of a small but impactful team, you’ll work closely with HR and business leaders to develop and refine compensation programs that align with industry trends and regulatory requirements. Your work will support the firm’s mission to maintain its “best in class” reputation while staying responsive to the needs of its diverse workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis and Insights: Leverage Workday and other HR systems to extract and analyze compensation data, identifying trends and insights that guide strategic decision-making. Incorporate diversity and inclusion metrics to ensure the firm’s offerings reflect a commitment to equity.
  • Market and Regulatory Alignment: Model compensation trends across the financial services industry, aligning the firm’s practices with market standards and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements such as MRT and IFR.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Support the Head of Reward by preparing materials and insights for Remuneration Committee (Rem-Co) meetings, participating actively to communicate strategies and ensure alignment.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the go-to expert for executive and deferred compensation across the UK and European offices, advising on best practices and overseeing continuous improvements to the firm’s compensation schemes.

What We're Looking For:

We seek a highly skilled compensation professional with hands-on experience in financial services. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in reward and executive compensation, a strong background in data analytics, and the ability to present data-driven insights that drive strategic decisions. Prior experience supporting or presenting to Rem-Co is highly desirable.

This role offers a rare opportunity to make a lasting impact in a highly respected firm that prioritises employee experience and inclusivity.

If you’re ready to take the next step in your compensation career within a dynamic, supportive environment, we’d love to hear from you.
