My client is a renowned London Venue are seeking an experienced and ambitious Head of Sales to join the team. The Head of Sales will be a real people person, full of new and innovative ideas and always thinking outside the box. You will have a proven track record of delivering growth, be an inspiring leader, and have a passion for delivering exceptional experiences


Responsibilities:

  • Managing the sales team to ensure the venue exceeds targets
  • Taking the lead on higher spend and more complex event enquiries
  • Monitor sales performance, analysing the current market and competitor venues
  • Identify new opportunities to target using proactive sales and marketing initiatives
  • Diary and yield management to maximise sales and profit at all opportunities
  • Preparing of monthly and weekly reports and financial forecasting, and feedback reports
  • Attend networking events, exhibitions and other promotional activities
  • Develop a sales strategy which both retains clients and develops new business relationships


Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience of managing a sales team within an events venue
  • Proven successes with delivering a venue budget
  • Experience in new openings or building up a department from scratch
  • Experience of managing budgets and financial reporting
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
  • Experience of creating a successful sales strategy
  • Personable and well presented
