Joining a well established, friendly and knowledgeable team as Corporate Accountant, you will be

responsible for the preparation, review and issuing of monthly, quarterly and annual internal and external reporting.


Our client are a very flexible organisation, where hybrid arrangement of 50/50 is on offer, plus a compressed working week, allowing a 1pm finish on a Friday. There is a discretionary annual bonus, a healthy employer pension contribution plus the ability to purchase up to a maximum of 1 working weeks’ annual leave each calendar year.


Key tasks include:


  • Assist with the financial consolidation process across the group, including fortnightly capex calls with senior management.
  • Prepare data for quarterly and annual investor reporting packs
  • Monthly, quarterly and consolidation of group figures into management, investor and statutory reports as required
  • Ad hoc accounting advice to Business Units
  • Prepare and review allocated Balance Sheet reconciliations and perform Balance Sheet reviews in accordance with month end timetables.
  • Prepare allocated UK subsidiary statutory accounts in accordance with timetables including tagging and tax analysis
  • Prepare allocated UK subsidiary corporation tax computations in accordance with timetables.
  • Approval of HSBC bank payments adhering to all relevant treasury policies.


You will be a qualified accountant (either CA, ACA, CIMA or ACCA) with experience in financial reporting, specifically statutory accounts preparation, UK corporation tax reporting requirements and technical accounting knowledge of IFRS.
