We have a vacancy for an experienced Senior product pricing analyst to join our team and to provide in depth analysis of business performance, make recommendations for change and develop strategies to positively impact the bottom line.


The Role


  • Coach lead and develop the product & pricing analyst.
  • Pipelining currency sales for notes and prepaid cards on all major currencies.
  • Monitoring and reporting of payment processing data.
  • Pricing and margin management for notes and travel money card across physical and direct sales channels.
  • Provide data relating to payment performance across digital channels.
  • Reporting of all aspects of customer behaviour of the prepaid card business.
  • Calculating and reporting profitability of prepaid card lifetime value.
  • Ad-Hoc report generation.
  • Support role for business areas.
  • Develop and deliver robust and meaningful monthly and ad hoc management information, including variance and trend analysis.
  • Maintain retail pricing models for branch and digital channels for all travel money products.
  • Provide monthly usage data for card products including trend analysis.
  • Support internal FRES teams by providing data including usage & payments information.
  • Control the movement of pricing and margin as approved by the trading committee.
  • Monitor, report and make recommendations on pricing changes to support the product & sales team goals.
  • Produce service level MI and performance analysis.


The Candidate


  • Ideally educated to degree level with postgraduate professional qualifications or qualified by experience.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to transform in-depth research into business strategy.
  • Commercially aware with a track record of delivering results that impact the bottom line.
  • Experienced in financial analysis and appraisal, activity-based costing, marginal costing, etc.
  • Excellent computer skills, in particular MS Excel, Access & Power BI, and experience of business intelligence software.
  • Excellent written and numerical presentation and communication skills.
