Your role

Are you very well organized with a strong eye for detail? Can you take ownership of and manage multiple ongoing tasks/transactions? Do you enjoy working with multiple stakeholders in order to achieve results? We’re looking for someone like that to:

• coordinate primary loan closing, including static data set up and integrity checks, prepare transaction summaries and provide support to the front office/admin/agency/reporting teams throughout the deal closing and lifecycle of the loan
• review operational aspects of loan documentation to ensure adherence to approval conditions, term sheet, and banks standards for such documents
• assist credit, deal teams and other stakeholders in the management and maintenance of the bank's loan portfolio and remediate issues and breaks
• coordinate waiver and amendment requests including system updates
• perform data validation, risk reporting and query management support including investigation, remediation, and intersystem reconciliation issues
• provide support for Agency related tasks, including new deal set-up and ongoing portfolio maintenance

Your team

You’ll be working in the Global Loan Services team based in our London office. As part of the team you will be providing support for the loan product to multiple stakeholders within the bank that offer loans for the EMEA region. You will have daily interaction with front office teams, internal/external counsel, Loan Agency/Admin teams, Credit, and various external counterparties (lenders/funds/borrowers).

Your expertise

• thorough knowledge of the loan product from offer letter through to final maturity, inclusive of loan administration and loan agency
• experience in reviewing loan documentation and identifying any operational issues
• high degree of literacy and numeracy
• good communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• thorough understanding of the risks and controls associated with the loan product
