As Junior Quality Assurance Specialist you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of this organisation's travel tech products. You will be collaborating closely with the development and product teams, testing software applications, identifying bugs, and advocating for exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures to ensure software quality.
  • Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing to validate system functionalities.
  • Document and prioritise defects, working closely with developers to resolve issues.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Continuously improves testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality and efficiency.


Requirements:

  • Understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Passion for travel and technology is highly desirable.
  • Some experience / understanding of Automation testing frameworks such as Cypress or Playwright.


Preferred but not essential:

  • Understanding of scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript
  • Basic knowledge of API testing tools and techniques
  • Experience with bug tracking tools such as Jira or Bugzilla
