Job Responsibilities:

The Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation and maintenance of quality systems, developing comprehensive training programs for the QC team, and establishing a trending system for key quality parameters. The role will involve:

  • Implementing KPI measures by shift, run, and period
  • Overseeing the follow-up of products on hold
  • Maintaining communication with relevant departments
  • Handling quality non-conformities through the system
  • Ensuring timely closure of corrective actions
  • Providing detailed reports to the Technical Manager
  • Reviewing and implementing specifications online
  • Collaborating with NPD for trial follow-ups
  • Working with the Quality Manager to execute a Product Quality Improvement Programme
  • Organizing problem-solving sessions to address and enhance quality issues
  • Taking internal audits
  • Setting up a traceability system
  • Handling quality complaints, conducting investigations, and working closely with QA and factory teams to implement a complaints reduction plan

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience working in a food safety role within food manufacturing
  • Hold a degree in a Food Science-related field
  • HACCP and Food Safety level 3 is advantageous but not essential
  • Good Excel skills are essential for this role
