As the leading jewellery brand renowned worldwide continues its expansion, an excellent opportunity has arisen for a Junior Sales executive that has a passion for jewellery and customer service would thrive to work in the world’s leading department store. You will be a core member of the team and help to generate new sales leads and contacts.

Strong team work is expected.

 

The Candidate will be expected to demonstrate the following attributes:

 

·      Sales experience within the luxury jewellery sector would be an advantage but not a prerequisite

·      Fluency in additional languages will be considered a strong advantage

·      Excellent knowledge of the English language, both oral and written

·      A strong foundation in fine jewellery product knowledge (relevant gemmological qualification preferred, e.g. GIA qualified)

·      A true passion and understanding of the high-end jewellery or retail sales industry

·      Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

·      Excellent communication skills

·      Ability to work on your own initiative as well as being part of a team

·      Ability to self-study and learn about the brand and jewels with your own passion and initiative.

 

The Role will entail the following job responsibilities:

 

·      Develop business relationships with prospective clients

·      Effectively maintain and expand relationships with existing clients

·      Research current trends in the fine jewellery industry

·      Develop and implement sales

·      Use existing contacts in the industry to generate new business

·      Arrange meetings with clients and carry out product demonstrations in Harrods.

·      Stay well-informed on the latest developments in the industry and competitor offerings
