An electric car developer whose mission is to bring real engagement and emotion to driving electric performance cars is currently looking for a Quality Inspector. The successful candidate will work with the Quality Manager to define and implement robust inspection processes that optimize efficiency and accuracy.


The Quality Inspector will:

  • Conduct inspections of inbound metallic and composite components, in-process sub-assemblies, in-process components, finished assemblies, and finished components.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, composite lay-up manuals and other technical documentation, to ensure components are conforming in all regards.
  • Accurately accept or reject inspected items and document all nonconformance via the NCR process.
  • Report quality metrics in line with KPI’s defined by the Quality Manager.
  • Utilize the ERP system to aid parts management by accurately moving parts into and out of the quality lab.
  • Work collaboratively with cross functional departments including Supplier Quality, Procurement, Design and Manufacturing to maximize quality outcomes.


The Quality Inspector will have:

  • 5+ years’ experience in Inspection, direct hands-on experience with mechanical component inspection.
  • Exposure to composite parts and components.
  • Direct, recent, and extensive ‘hands-on’ experience of inspecting mechanical and composite parts within a Formula One, Tier 1 Automotive or Aerospace environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate calmly and effectively at all levels.
  • Familiarity with ISO9001 standards and expertise in using the Polyworks metrology suite, ensuring precision in measurements and adherence to quality management protocols.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP software systems to effectively manage and integrate various business processes related to production and operations.
