Signature Career Management are currently working with a high performing, family run business who is on the look out for a Business Development Manager. This position is a senior position within the UK sales team and a key part to helping grow the business.


With a great reputation in the market, the business has grown at a rapid rate and is now allocating resources to grow their sales team. With this hire, they are looking for someone with experience in the B2B Ingredients space that can help them manage key customers and find opportunities across Food & Nutrition customers.


What will you do?

  • You will drive sales and manage customer relationships across the UK
  • Develop and nurture relationships of new and existing customers.
  • Effectively identify customer needs, offer tailored solutions and meet requirements.
  • Play a key role in managing cross functional stakeholders to ensure high quality service to your customers.
  • Make recommendations to improve quality and efficiency of the sales team output and processes.
  • Assist on planning engagement activities, attending event and work closely with the UK Head of Sales and cross functionally.


What are they looking for?

  • Experienced in B2B route to market.
  • Experience working with commodity or speciality Ingredients.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to work with autonomy and take accountability.
  • Able to collaborate in a team but also take responsibility to manage your own customers and find new opportunities.
  • Somebody that thrives in a small – Midsize business environment and wants to find a new long term home in a business that cares for it’s people.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A go getter, will roll up the sleeves and has that fire inside to succeed.
