We now need a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the ride
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee new contracts and collaborate with clients to assess financial impacts of projects.
- Track and forecast project costs, including staff, subcontractors, and materials.
- Provide updates on commercial aspects at project meetings.
- Manage commercial processes related to project changes, issue necessary notices, and handle cost variations.
- Prepare monthly billing statements, oversee invoice creation, and monitor client payments.
- Produce regular commercial activity reports and act as the primary commercial contact with clients.
- Support final account reviews and documentation.
- Assist in commercial evaluations for new bids and pricing.
Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail with proficient data entry skills.
- A proactive, learning-oriented attitude with flexibility in task management.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to new challenges.
- Problem-solving skills with a positive outlook.
- Experience in construction or engineering, and familiarity with office environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel, and experience handling internal and external customer interactions.
