Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Paid Social Specialist to join a growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing paid social media campaigns, with a deep understanding of various platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and others. While a foundational knowledge of PPC is beneficial, this role will focus primarily on driving performance and strategy through paid social channels.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Strategy Development: Design and implement paid social media strategies that align with client objectives and business goals.
  • Campaign Management: End-to-end management of paid social campaigns, including planning, execution, optimisation, and reporting.
  • Audience Targeting: Develop and refine audience segmentation strategies to ensure highly targeted and effective campaigns.
  • Creative Collaboration: Work closely with creative teams to develop compelling ad creatives that resonate with target audiences.
  • Data Analysis: Monitor, analyse, and report on campaign performance, using data-driven insights to optimize and improve results.
  • Budget Management: Manage campaign budgets effectively, ensuring maximum ROI and adherence to client specifications.
  • Client Communication: Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates, insights, and recommendations for improving campaign performance.
  • Platform Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and updates in paid social platforms, ensuring best practices are followed and innovative approaches are applied.
  • Training & Mentorship: Provide guidance and training to junior team members, sharing expertise and helping to develop their skills.


Key Qualifications:


  • Experience: 5-6 years of experience in paid social media, ideally within an agency or a large brand environment.
  • PPC Knowledge: Basic understanding of PPC strategies and platforms, with the ability to integrate PPC insights into paid social campaigns.
  • Platform Proficiency: Proven experience with platforms such as Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Twitter Ads, etc.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve campaign performance.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including creative, analytics, and client services.
  • Time Management: Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with paid social in both B2B and B2C contexts.
  • Knowledge of additional platforms like TikTok, Snapchat, or Pinterest.
  • Experience using social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Google Analytics).
  • A degree in marketing, advertising, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
