We're working with a highly regarded law firm who are looking for a Post-Completions Team Leader to oversee the post-completions team in their property department. Based in their office in Manchester; a player manager, you'll lead the team with your experience, as well as managing and guiding them on a day-to-day basis. Reviewing and processing requests on property matters to ensure optimum performance. This role is perfect for a candidate with a number of years of post-completions and supervisory experience, that is looking to take a step up into a more senior position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing the post-completions team.
  • Preparing and submitting land registry applications including transfers, leases, charges, CN1s.
  • Registering and satisfying charges and debentures at Companies' House.
  • Raising and dealing with a variety of different queries with Land Registry on behalf of fee earners.
  • Entering and updating the electronic Post-Completion checklist.
  • Drafting a variety of SDLT/LTT Returns.
  • Calculating the SDLT/LTT payable for each transaction and arranging payments to HMRC/WRA of any SDLT/LTT due.
  • Satisfying Charges and Debentures at Companies House.
  • Obtaining draft insurance policies for Chancel Repair and submitting and paying once approved by Fee Earner.
  • Carrying out Company winding up searches.
  • Drafting PG82 Certificates.
  • Obtaining No Search Certificate from The Coal Authority.

What we need from you:

  • Flexible and able to manage quick changes to process with good planning skills.
  • Minimum of two years' experience within post completions in a supervisory/management capacity.
  • Excellent communication skills and can remain professional and credible.
