The role

A National Account Manager is needed to take ownership of key grocery and discounter accounts. This role involves working closely with buyers to drive category success, ensuring that products not only land on shelves but also fly off them. The position requires a mix of commercial awareness, relationship-building skills, and an eye for new opportunities to maximise brand impact.

Responsibilities

  • Build and strengthen relationships with key grocery and wholesale customers
  • Develop tailored strategies that align with customer category plans
  • Oversee trade plans and promotional activity to increase product visibility
  • Monitor sales data and market trends to spot opportunities for growth
  • Manage stock forecasts to ensure smooth supply and availability
  • Collaborate with internal teams across NPD, marketing, and operations to bring new products to life

Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales experience with UK Grocery Customers
  • Experience managing key accounts, with a track record of driving commercial success
  • Strong analytical skills with an understanding of pricing, forecasting, and category management
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Highly organised, proactive, and able to work at pace in a dynamic environment
