A mid-sized, dynamic financial services firm is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of PMO to lead their Project Management Office and drive the successful delivery of critical business initiatives.

The Role
The Head of PMO will report directly to the Head of Change and be responsible for:
- Establishing and refining the organization's PMO framework, ensuring alignment with business strategy and objectives.
- Overseeing the delivery of high-profile, cross-functional projects and programs, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Defining project management standards, tools, and best practices to enhance efficiency and consistency.
- Building and leading a high-performing team of project managers and ensuring their professional growth and development.
- Collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to identify priorities, manage resources, and mitigate risks effectively.
- Providing clear reporting and communication on project progress, performance, and value delivered to the business.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Proven experience in leading a PMO or similar function, ideally within the financial services sector or a comparable industry.
- A strong track record of delivering complex projects and programs, with expertise in project portfolio management.
- Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities, with the capability to work effectively at all organizational levels.
- A strategic mindset, paired with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and execution.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, MSP) and a degree in a related field are highly desirable.
