Our client, a private equity healthcare services company are looking for an Interim Tax Consultant to join them for 4 months to build a tax function and help with tax accounting and consulting. You will be required to travel to their head office in Munich initially, and then ad-hoc travel to train the local countries. Your responsibilities would be but not limited to;


  • Tax accounting across five countries, which is mostly prepared in Excel spreadsheets then consolidated for the tax note
  • Implementing a new tax reporting system which will include rolling over balances and tidying these up
  • Requires a combination of tax knowledge, IFRS accounting knowledge, willingness to get stuck in to Excel
  • Ideally also some familiarity with Amana (Lucanet) or similar tax reporting tools.
  • Implementation of Amana with KPMG and then training the local countries
  • Project management of tax software


Candidate profile

  • Qualified Tax Consultant CTA/ ACA / ACCA with post qualification experience in tax (UK & International)
  • Essential: tax accounting
  • Essential: implementation of tax software
  • Essential: Ability to train local users on new software but it's not a systems role more project management
